It has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91% screen-to-body ratio with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. The Mi A3’s front display and curved back are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that will protect the phone from falls and scratches. The Mi A3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and has eight Kryo 260 cores (four performance and four efficiency) clocked at 2GHz. It also includes Adreno 610 GPU, 3rd-gen Qualcomm AI Engine, Spectra 165 ISP, and X12 LTE modem. The device comes with 4GB of RAM along with two internal storage options – 64GB and 128GB, which can be expanded via microSD card. On the camera front, the smartphone features a triple-camera setup on the rear, which includes a primary 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX582 sensor, along with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens secondary sensor, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portrait shots. For selfies, there is a 32MP f/2.0 sensor aided by AI on the front. Connectivity options on the device include a hybrid dual-SIM/microSD card tray, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack among others. Mi A3 also features an improved in-screen fingerprint sensor with a 15% increased fingerprint detection area for more secure user experience. The smartphone is backed by a huge 4,030mAh battery under the hood and offers up to 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. Mi A3 is powered by Android One and runs on the latest Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box.
