Oppo Joy Plus is a natural successor to its predecessor to Oppo Joy. It sports a 4-inch WVGA display which gives a resolution of 480x800p display. Oppo stated that the Oppo Joy Plus will be available in white coloured variant with a frost matte gold frame and another variant with blue rear cover and electroplated frame. Oppo Joy Plus is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor. It will run on 1GB RAM and have an internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded upto 32GB through a microSD card expansion slot. For creativity, Oppo Joy Plus will have 3MP rear camera which has a Sony 2nd Generation stacked CMOS camera sensor and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. For connectivity, the dual-sim phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It has a 1,700mAh battery just like its predecessor. Joy Plus runs ColorOS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
