Called as Motorola Razr 2 (aka Razr 5G), this completely re-invented iconic flip phone offers a faster processor, more useful software, a much-improved camera, support for 5G, and much more.
Specifications of Motorola Razr 2:
Display The foldable flip phone returns with precision-crafted metal and glass that adds a modern look to the iconic design. It has a 6.2” OLED Flex View Display that folds in half, fitting comfortably in your palm or pocket. You can flip it, unlock it, swipe, and type comfortably with just one hand. In addition, it also has a 21.9:9 foldable display on the inside of the phone. Processor This second-generation Razr is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor that keeps apps running smoothly with 8GB RAM. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB RAM. Dimensions When folded, the dimensions of the phone are 2.6 x 91.7 x 16mm, and when unfolded, the dimensions are 2.6 x 169.2 x 7.9mm. According to Motorola, the new zero-gap hinge design is tested for 200,000 flips, which is equivalent to 100 folds per day for five years. Further, the phone weighs 192 grams. Camera The phone has a 48MP camera that comes with an f/1.7 aperture, OIS (optical image stabilization), a newly added laser autofocus time-of-flight (TOF) sensor, and Quad Pixel technology so that you can capture sharper, more vibrant photos with 4x better low light sensitivity. Further, it has an internal camera that has a 20MP sensor to shoot quad-pixel 5MP stills. Auto smile capture can recognize up to 5 faces/people in the same frame. Connectivity Based on 5G sub-6GHz (mid-range and low-end 5G) network connectivity, the flip phone provides 90-130 Mbps download speeds to the average user. It will work best for 5G and 4G LTE on AT&T and T-Mobile. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, eSIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. Quick View Display With the 2.7-inch OLED “Quick View” display on the outside, you can check notifications, make calls, type a reply, make mobile payments, take selfies, play songs, get directions, ask the Google Assistant, and more without having to open your device. Battery The phone comes with a larger 2,800mAh battery that can go up to 24 hours without needing to recharge Razr. When it’s time to recharge, TurboPower gives you hours of power in just minutes of charging, says Motorola. It also has a 15W charger included. Security In order to simplify the RAZR’s distinctive chin, the fingerprint sensor has been shifted to the rear of the phone, where it has been skilfully combined with the cut-out for the Motorola logo. Water-Resistant Unfortunately, the Razr 5G lacks an IP rating, which means it is not waterproof. It is not designed to be submersed in water, or exposed to pressurized water, or other liquids. However, Motorola’s water-repellent coating to the external ports as well as the internal components creates a barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water, such as accidental spills, splashes or light rain. Software The Razr 5G ships with Android 10, which means you get the Google access you love and the bloat-free Android experience you crave. It also comes with Motorola’s custom My UX that makes your phone work the way you want. Control it with simple gestures, customize your entertainment settings, and create a look that’s one in a million. Availability The new Motorola Razr model costs $1,399 and is available in three different colors: Brush Gold, Liquid Mercury, and Polished Graphite. It will be sold unlocked as well as through T-Mobile and AT&T.
