Now, without much introduction I start the practical portion. First of all, you need to jailbreak your iPad running iOS 9. This can be accomplished by using Pangu JailBreak app which you can do so by visiting this website. Remember to backup your data before starting any jailbreaking operation.

Download Pangu to your Windows PC. Install the software by following onscreen instructions. Prepare your device by doing the following Turn on Airplane Mode. Disable Find My iPhone (Settings -> iCloud -> Find My iPhone) Plug in your device to your PC and run the Pangu Jailbreak application.

During the jailbreak process, you will have to monitor the procedure and follow the prompts on the screen. Although it won’t take more than five minutes to complete, you will have to occasionally unlock your iOS device, enable Airplane Mode, then later run the Pangu app that temporarily installs on it (make sure to grant Photos access when prompted to).

Once you’ve successfully jailbroken your device, you can safely unplug it.

After a successful jailbreak, you are now ready to accomplish the main task. Within the Cydia app, search for and install Medusa for iPad(from developer CP Digital Darkroom). Now, To use Slide Over, the feature that allows you to open an app while you’re in another one, use the grabber in the middle of the right side of the iPad’s display. This will present you with a list of apps that you can launch. From now on, you don’t have to leave an app to use another one. While using the Slide Over feature, pull the center divider out a little more to enter Split View mode, permitting you to use two different apps at the same time. Here is the video demonstration for further clarification.

If your older iPad is running well, then there’s no need to purchase a new model for just a few new features. You are all set to multitask in a new way. Post your doubts or queries regarding further information in the comments.
