The LHC experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider has reported the discovery of a new class of sub-atomic particles known as ‘Pentaquarks’. Well, a company named SLD Laser showcased a demonstration of its latest version of laser Li-Fi at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. During the demonstration, the company managed to transfer data at a speed of 20 GB/s. It is worth noting that, 5G wireless network can only offer data transfer speed of 1GB/s. Unlike conventional Wi-Fi, the Li-Fi technology displayed by SLD Laser uses laser light instead of radio waves to transmit data at improved speeds....

Rumors of a fully Android-powered BlackBerry device popped up again last month, and today Evan Blass aka @evleaks came out on Twitter to say that BlackBerry’s Android-powered “Venice” smartphone is on its way to AT&T for an official launch later this year in the month of November. According to the FCC, in August 2014, a hacker using the alias EvilJordie, a member of the “Lizard Squad” hacker group presented himself as a Cox tech employee and successfully convinced a company customer service representative and a Cox contractor to give up authentication keys that unlocked the sensitive customer data. Using this information, if attackers obtained the user’s email they could send a message, authenticated by its content, containing an attachment armed with a remote code execution exploit that could compromise the user’s device, the report said....

The key persons behind Hack Road are Autodesk research fellow Mickey McManus and Bandito Brothers CEO and creative director Mouse McCoy. The idea of building Hack Road came to McCoy. Two years ago, McCoy told Fast Company, he decided to figure out the future of making things. “I knocked on the door of Autodesk,” he recalled, and ended up meeting McManus, who soon became inspired to see how his interest in digital fabrication and machine learning could be applied to the trillion-dollar auto industry....
